Results: Star CBM Lectura Data Views and Printable Files – Star Help

Who can do this with the standard user permissions?

You can see, print, and export your Star CBM Lectura data from the Data Insights page and in the Star Record Book.

Data Insights

When you select the Star CBM Lectura tile on the Home page, or when you select Star in Renaissance Next and then select Star CBM Lectura, you can select Data Insights to see the following by class, grade, school, or the district:

the percentage of your students who have been administered the recommended screening measure for their grade in the current screening window (if the student's grade has a recommended screening measure)
the percentage of students who have completed any Star CBM Lectura assessment in the current screening window
the percentage who are proficient on the screening measure (those who scored in the Satisfactory/Optimal category) - when you select Explore the data, you can see student achievement on all measures
the percentage of students whose scores on the recommended screening measure have moved up from Alert to Satisfactory/Optimal (and how students in general have transitioned between benchmark categories)

You can also select the Reports tile on the Home page and select Star CBM Data Insights, or select Reports in Renaissance Next and select Data Insights under Star CBM. In the Star Record Book, you can select View Reports, then Star CBM Data Insights.

Data Insights allow you to see data across your classes and schools and to see lists of students who haven't been screened, students who scored in each benchmark category, and students whose scores moved to a different benchmark category since the last screening window. Select Explore the data on any tile to see more detailed information.

As you explore the proficiency, screening rate, or transition data, you can view data for screening windows in the current school year or the previous school year. You can also filter data using the drop-down lists and sort data in tables. Select Print or Save to view and print a PDF file, and select Download Data to export data to a file for use in your spreadsheet program (as a .csv file). Star Record Book

In the Star Record Book, you can print Star CBM Lectura results or save them to a file (PDF) by selecting Print or Save at the bottom of most pages.

For class results, select Print or Save at the bottom of any of the tabs in the Star Record Book: Latest Tests, Screening Comparison, CBM English Assessments, and CBM Spanish Assessments.

For individual students, the Print or Save option is available on the Star CBM Lectura Student Details page (to the right of the tabs) and at the bottom of the Measure Chart and the CBM Assessment Report. Note: On the Student Details page, if you want to include previous school year data when you print or save, be sure to select Load Results from Previous School Years before you select Print or Save.

Student Details (Star CBM Lectura tab)	Goal: The student's goals (if any), including the start and end dates for each one, the goal name, the CPM goal, the expected growth rate to meet that goal, the actual Rate of Improvement (ROI), and a chart showing student progress toward the goal Assessments: The student's assessments that apply toward each goal (if applicable) and other assessments, including the date, measure, and Correct Per Minute score for each Latest Assessment Data: The student's latest assessment data for the selected subject, including the Star CBM and Star CBM Lectura CPM scores, the latest Star Reading, Star Early Literacy, or Star Math Percentile Rank and Scaled Score (depending on the selected subject and the test taken), and the projected Scaled Score for the end of the school year
Measure Chart	Chart of Assessments for the Measure: A chart of the student's assessments in each screening window for the selected measure, including the following for each test: the number of items correct in green (note that Correct Per Minute scores are adjusted) the number incorrect in red Table of Assessments for the Measure: A table of the student's scores for the measure in this school year, including the date of each assessment, the number correct and attempted, the Correct Per Minute score, and teacher notes
CBM Assessment Report	Score: The student's Correct Per Minute score Notes: Teacher notes entered during scoring Form with Incorrect Answers: The assessment form that the student completed - items the student answered or read incorrectly are marked in red

Caregiver Report

To share students' Star CBM Lectura results with their caregivers, you can open the Caregiver Report in either of these ways:

If you see the Home page after logging in, select Star CBM Reading, Star CBM Math, or Star CBM Lectura, then select Caregiver Report.
If you see Renaissance Next, select Reports on the left side of the page, then select Caregiver Report under Star CBM.
In the Star Record Book, select View Reports, then Star CBM Caregiver Report.

For each student, the Caregiver Report includes a graph of student scores on the screening measure in each season in the current school year; it also includes a table of the student's other Star CBM scores in the selected season and subject. You can choose to include at-home practice recommendations and explanations of terms.
