At the beginning of each screening window, all assessments for the appropriate grade level are assigned to each student. On the Assigned Assessments page, you can review and adjust who will take each assessment for Fall (F), Winter (W) and Spring (S) screening windows. All students should take every assessment unless a qualified individual deems one or more of the assessments is inappropriate for a child due to a disability. Demonstration and practice items will determine developmental readiness. For help supporting students with IEPs, 504 plans, or other accommodation needs, see the Accommodations Guide to find out how to use accommodations or modifications during the assessment instead of unassigning it.
If you want to unassign some or all assessments for a student, you can do that on the Assigned Assessments page. To go to this page, select Assigned Assessments in the screening window class summary at the top of the Assessments Dashboard.
On the Assigned Assessments page, you will see a column for each assessment type and each screening window: Fall (F), Winter (W), and Spring (S). Uncheck any assessments that you want to unassign for students in each screening window. If your class includes both Early Education and Pre-Kindergarten students, they will be listed in separate tables because they have different assessments available. If you have students in other grades, they will be listed in an Other Grades table, and they will have the Pre-Kindergarten assessments.
If you want to assign or unassign all assessments in all screening windows for a grade, check or uncheck the Assign or Unassign All box above the table for that grade.
When you're done changing assigned assessments, select Save Changes; if you want to leave the page without saving your changes instead, select Discard Changes. (You can also select < Back to Assessments Dashboard at the top of the page.)
