The "Students in" page lists the students who are in the score category that you selected on the previous page (Comparisons & Growth, Compare Schools, or Compare Classes). You'll see the measure, screening window, grade(s), and school(s) that you selected.
Student Data on the Page
For each student in the list, you'll see the student's name, grade level, score and benchmark category, format (always online), school name, class name, and teacher (who is the person who administered that assessment). If you chose the students not assessed category, scores and format are not included; for discontinued assessments, no score is available, but the format is shown.
The colors and icons next to the scores indicate the benchmark category, which is the category you selected. For more about the benchmarks, see Star Preschool Benchmarks.
Printing or Saving the Student List
To print the student data, or to save it to a PDF, select Print or Save above the table. Then, choose a printer, or choose the option to save as a PDF.
Downloading Data to a File
To download the students' assessment data to a file that can be opened in spreadsheet programs, select Download Data. A .csv (comma-separated value) file will be downloaded to your computer.
For each class, the file includes this data:
- screening window (fall, winter, or spring)
- benchmark category (Discontinued, Intervention, On Watch, or At/Above Benchmark - blank for students who haven't been assessed in the screening window)
- measure name
- student name
- student's grade
- Star Preschool scaled score
- school name
- class name
- teacher who administered the assessment
