SAEBRS data can be used to assess students’ general social, academic, and emotional behaviors. Data can also be useful in program evaluation and in determining how students may be best supported across multiple tiers of social-emotional learning needs. Setting this preference determines which students will be able to access the mySAEBRS assessment from their Home page after they have logged into Renaissance.
By default, student are able to access the mySAEBRS assessment; this preference is used to remove student access by opting them out.
- After you select mySAEBRS Assessment on the Preferences page, use the Schools , Classes , and Students drop-down lists to choose which students to set the preference for.
- You can only select one school and class at a time; only the schools and classes available to you will be shown in the lists. (If you only have access to one school/class, you will not need to select them.)
- All of the students in the selected class will be shown in the Students list. You can choose which ones to apply the preference setting to by checking their names one at a time (or by removing the check marks to deselect them); you can also choose Select All/Clear All at the bottom to check/uncheck all of the students at once. (If you only have access to one student, you will not need to select them.)
- The students in the list will have Can take the mySAEBRS assessment checked by default in the Setting column. Remove the check mark for a student to opt that student out of taking mySAEBRS.
To set the same preference for all the students shown at the same time, select Set All... , check (or uncheck) Can take the mySAEBRS assessment , and then select Apply to All .

When you have finished making your changes, select Save Changes to save them (you will see a confirmation message once your changes have been saved), or select Undo Changes to undo your changes to the preference setting without saving them.
