The Indiana Star Reading Assessment is an "augmented" versions of the Star Reading Enterprise assessment. It has additional test questions with greater difficulty levels that are designed to cover standards specific to the state of Indiana. The number of questions varies by test type and grade:

Whether students get the Indiana test depends on the grades the students are in, whether the students are taking the test within one of the default district screening windows, and the settings of the following preferences:
