Indiana Star Assessments - School Preference – Star Help

The Indiana Star Assessments - Individual Student Preference must also be set in order for students to take the Indiana test.

Both preferences are only available for schools in the state of Indiana.

How do I get to this page?

There are two ways to get to this preference—use whichever method you prefer.

Method 1:

Log in to Renaissance.
On the Home page, select your name in the upper-right corner. In the drop-down list, select Edit Preferences.
On the Preferences page, select Indiana Star Assessments in the School Preferences section of the page.

Method 2:

Log in to Renaissance.
On the Home page, select Star Reading or Star Math. In the drop-down list, select Preferences.
On the Preferences page, select Indiana Star Assessments in the School Preferences section of the page.

Who can do this with default user permissions?

District Level Administrators, School Level Administrators

This preference determines which type of Star tests students in Indiana will take based on their school.

On this page, you will see a list of all the schools you have access to . For each school that has district screening windows assigned to it, select up to three windows during which you want Indiana Star tests to be administered to students .
If you want to set the preference for all the schools you have access to at once, select Set All... . In the pop-up window, select the district windows you want and then select Apply to All (or select Cancel to close the pop-up without saving your changes).
Select Save Changes to save your changes, or you can select Undo Changes to undo them if you wish.
Select Back to return to the Preferences page.
